TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDEInc.

Now in our seventh publishing year (2007)

Two Distinctive Editions Published Monthly:Kansas City &St. Louis

Over the past six years, TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ Magazine has become so popular with the golfing public each month and readers actively seek the new upcoming issue for the following reasons. If you golf in any of our distribution areas… then you’ll know about our publication.

Why The Publication in Such Demand Every Month:

The Publication is designed with 10 different areas in every issue that will keep readers coming back to read every issue over and over throughout the month. This gives our advertiser maximum viewing rates every month...

  1. A complete listing of every golf course in the KC Metro area with phone numbers and green fee rates.
  2. A complete listing of every golf course in theLake Ozarks area with phone numbers and green fee rates.
  3. A complete listing of every golf course in the Branson area with phone numbers and green fee rates.
  4. A convenient golf course locator map included in every issue.
  5. A complete listing of every retail golf store in the KC Metro area with phone numbers and addresses.
  6. A complete listing of every driving range in the KC Metro area with phone numbers and addresses.
  7. A listing area lessons by PGA Professionals in the KC Metro area with phone numbers and addresses.
  8. A listing of area Golf Associations with phone numbers and addresses.
  9. A listing by month of PGA Tournaments with date and TV Channel viewing guide.
  10. The Rules of Golf column in every issue

High quality Four-color graphics and advertisements in every publication with two-colors throughout.

Packed with more local golf information, news, articles, golf tips than any golf publication in Missouri, Illinois, orKansas.

Why we are a “Monthly Publication”…

Bimonthly publications typically run out of stock in a few weeks. They may not be restocked for two months. If you’re paying for two months worth of ad space in a bimonthly publication and it’s gone in the first couple of weeks, then  how is your Advertisement going to help your business in the second month if it has not even seen?

Why we are not a “Glossy Magazine”…

Our survey results from day one showed us that readers are inundated with glossy type golf magazines. While those magazines all do a fantastic job of providing national golf news, and information, they all fall short of what local golfers want, and that is “Local” Golf news, and information provided to them in a Newsprint format. We fill that need/niche! We continue to survey readers and advertisers every year on this topic and the answers are always unanimous, “Don’t Change What is Working.”

Our Writing Staff in Every Edition includes local contributing writers:

Area PGA Professionals.

PGA Teaching Professionals.

Private & Public course General Managers.

Local Writers and Course Reviewers.

Course Superintendents.

The National Golf Foundation's “2003 & 2004 surveys" taken in the Kansas City Metro Area determined that TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ is the most popular local golf publication among Kansas City Metro Area golfers and the most effective source for advertising to those golfers.

Our New Web Site reaches 10,000 – 20,000 additional readers nationally every month. All advertisements found in the printed publication are also published in full-size on our web site at no additional charge. This offers our advertisers even more local and national recognition.

Advantages of Advertising with TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE

  1. This publication is designed with you in mind. Offering you the most effective and affordable resource for you to target market your products or services to prospective business.

  1. Our Advertising Rates are a fraction of what a city newspaper charges. (Example: our average 4-color, ¼-page Ad “5 x 6 inches” will cost about $400.00 per month. That same size Ad in a city paper might cost you nearly $1,500 for 1-color per day). We effectively preserve your marketing budget!

  1. You are guaranteed that every cent of your advertising dollar is focused on the people you want to do business with. (While a city newspaper could have a distribution of one million, typically only 1 to 2% is actually the people, “golfers”, who will do business with you).

  1. We have the ability to ad value to your advertisement through the effective use of articles and profiles focusing more attention towards your business. With any print, radio, or TV type media you will only benefit from long-term repetitive exposure to your markets; we offer you that ability plus more.

We are the only "Local Monthly" Golf Publication inMissouri or Kansas. Bi-Monthly publications lock the advertiser into a two-month promotion where running an "image ad" is your only option, limiting your creative marketing methods or ability to gaining new business.

We value all of our advertisers and want you to receive more than you pay for, to help you market your business, period. I would like to thank you for selecting TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ as your media source and let you know that we will do everything possible to help your business flourish.

Consistent creative marketing is critical to the success of any business. Our Advertisers see results and that is why over the past 5 years 95% retained their advertisements in the publication.

We now enjoy over 500,000 readers each year and have fast become the most sought after or read local golf publication in Missouri, Western Illinois, & Eastern Kansas. Over 2 Million Golfers have read the publication since our inception.  We receive subscription request from all over the country each month. Our New Web Site received over 330,000 hits during 2006.

TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™, is the only monthly all golf publication in Missouri , Kansas, or Illinois, that distributes not only to over 490 golf courses (Public & Private) but also a mix of more than 650 restaurants, sports bars, fitness centers, resorts, golf stores, driving ranges and many other related locations surrounding golf related businesses. We get your message in front of golfers even when they are not around a golf facility.

Your participation as a supporter of TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ makes all the above mentioned become reality every issue. I thank you for your time and continued support. Remember, “You take advantage of this opportunity as an open door invitation to utilize the resource”.  I am delighted that you are part of our success and I look forward to working with you in the future.

A Message to Those in the Golf Industry, From The Publisher

Please Take a Moment to Read the Following Message.

2007 Will Mark Our 7th Year of Publishing TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™.

I want to take a moment and let you know that our original mission statement 6 years ago in part reads, “To help the golf industries where we distribute to grow and prosper”. That has not changed.

What I mean by that statement is that… We are here to help you and promote golf…period.

This is your publication and that was from the inception and remains today as my vision. This is your resource to get your message out to the golfing public every month. No other local or national publication is opening that door for you.

But, you have to take advantage of this opportunity as an open door invitation to utilize the resource. If you have anything newsworthy, promotions, tournaments, or any message then send it to us and TEE TIMES GOLF GUIDE™ will do everything possible to get that message in front of your potential customers, whether you’re an advertiser or not. However, you have to take the time to inform us so we can do our part for you.

In our region, we have roughly 6 to 8 months of what is considered as good golfing conditions and to create income for those weaker months ahead.  My staff and I are continually working for you to get the message in front of golfers to simply-- “Go Golfing”. This publication exists as a constant reminder to play golf. And, that message is the same for every segment of the golf industry, whether its driving ranges, golf stores, lessons and so on.

As an expert in the advertising and marketing business, I will always advise an advertiser/client to avoid discounting the price of products or services. Avoid conditioning the consumer to only doing business with the advertiser/client at a reduced price. Further, I would encourage every client to entertain other creative marketing methods to gain business.

Our Mission Statement:

To help the area golf industries throughout our vast distribution area to grow and prosper. Additionally, to help our readers become more informed to the quality of golf courses, lessons, associations and equipment so that  you can become better acquainted with all that's available. To introduce to our readers: fun, entertaining and educational information in an effort to help make their next golf experience more enjoyable.
